Details
The detail is in the paintwork. The koalas fur is dry-brushed so the grey lifts off the darker undercoat, the kookaburras wing is picked out feather by feather in blue and slate, and the kangaroos jacket carries five rows of gold frogging across the chest.
They are the sort of ornaments people pick up off the tree to look at properly. An Australian Christmas set travels well as a gift, here and overseas, and because the box is a window box you can give it as it comes. The compartments also make it easy to pack the set away in January without the ribbons tangling.
